Artwork Guidelines
Which File Should I Start With?
Use your best original artwork, not a screenshot or compressed social image. Keep an editable master; PNG or PDF can be useful print references, but a PDF does not automatically mean vector artwork. Accepted production formats are confirmed with the job.
What Size And Resolution Do You Need?
Give the final width × height in inches for each print location. Raster detail must be sufficient at that actual size—changing a DPI label or enlarging a small image does not restore missing detail. Final print readiness needs review.
How Should I Handle Fonts And Linked Images?
Keep the editable original. In a separate print-ready copy, outline fonts and include or embed linked images so the design does not change when opened elsewhere. Check spelling and fine details before approval.
What About Backgrounds And Transparency?
Identify what should print and what should stay open. Transparent space, white ink and a white rectangular background are different. Soft edges and semi-transparent effects need review.
Will The Printed Colors Match My Screen?
Screens, garments and print methods can look different. Tell us the garment color and any precise color requirements, thin lines or gradients; exact matching and sample needs must be agreed, not assumed.
How Do I Organize Multiple Designs Or A Gang Sheet?
Use clear filenames and identify the design, version, size and placement for each location. For gang sheets, distinguish each design’s dimensions from the full canvas, including margins. Final counts, spacing and production limits require approval.
What Should I Check On The Proof?
Review spelling, artwork version, garment/style/color, print dimensions and placement, quantities and any personalization at a readable scale. Only submit artwork you have rights to reproduce. Changes require a new approval; marketing permission is separate from production permission.
What If My Artwork Is Not Ready Yet?
Choose Graphic Design for a new design or artwork cleanup. Share the best reference you have and describe what needs to change; scope, price and revisions are agreed separately.
Can I Upload Artwork Here?
Secure file upload is not yet connected. Describe your artwork in the quote form. A confirmed quote, approved proof, available stock and payment are required before production.
